On Sunday 29th March, TSX Tae Kwon-Do held an open day at the Pulse Fitness Centre, Bradford (BD2 1NR), showcasing Tae Kwon-Do, TSX itself and the benefits that martial arts has for a person.
It was well attended and supported. Mr Raistrick ran the demonstration with the help of Mr Fairley, showing a demonstration with student volunteers from the Halifax, Bradford and Elland clubs. The standard of the students participating in the demonstration was very good, and it was a great moment for the students to show their abilities to the onlookers and all felt the pride that comes with participating in martial arts.
The response to those wishing to try Tae Kwon-Do was fantastic, with over ten people opting to trial Tae Kwon-Do at the following session. All spoke of how impressed they were with the open day, and the friendly atmosphere generated by the club and its students.
Due to popular demand, an adult/senior class has been added, running 7-8pm on a Tuesday and Friday.
Mr Raistrick and Mr Fairley would like to extend their thanks to all those that assisted with the open day and supported it, all of who were a credit to themselves and TSX, and shining examples of why martial arts is so important.
